ok, then. there's a goal to aim for. thanks guys. i shall proceed to build FRANKENSTEIN!! thinking of running methnol, since its going to be a toy for the weekend at the track. I just have to do some homework on compression ratio's. I am told that you cannot run as high as the guys useing "multivalve" motors on methanol, because these old 8valve heads are not as efficient. this is obvious, but i might have to run as low as 8:1 compression. not so good. I would like to run as close to 11:1 as possible. start the boost at a mild 0.8bar and go from there. any advise guys?? I will be saving up for a pretty decsent management system and electronic dizzy. hope i dont encounter too many problems.
