I suppose we will never see an alloy L6 from Nissan
itll most likely be a V6, however I have no dramas
in using another engine or internals from another
make if its possible and makes me happy for the hell of it.
I do agree the 5 speed drama is a big one for us all
in that there arent many boxes we can find readily, cheaply
and that have the right gearing we need.
The T50 has the wrong gearing for first so its totally
useless in my eyes as it should be at least like the 80-81
71B 3.08 to 1 or even 2.9 like the early Z boxes but then
you have to have 1.9 max for 2nd.

The 71B and 71c are for sure the best boxes to try and adapt
Simon has done it and doing well with it.

On the diff side does anyone have any idea if the BW78
is 7.8 inches or smaller? to me its definitely smaller
than a H190 when you take out the centre it reminds me
of a H165 in size. Would there be a way to machine
a BW LSD to fit a h165?
