This looks like the Throttle Opener:

And this is EGR:

* EGR valve in back
* EGR BPT in front
* EGR cut-off solenoid near the top

The EGR system looks correctly disconnected so it won't cause a vacuum leak. Don't change it to try to fix the shaking problem.

The shaking problem can't be caused by the FICD unless you connected the wrong hose to the FICD. I do not see FICD in the photos.

You don't need FICD. Just raise the throttle speed 100 RPM. And be sure to adjust the idle air/fuel mixture correctly -- if it is a little lean it may idle OK without the extra load. But shake too much with the extra load

Have you re-adusted the a/f mixture yet? If not, go do that now.
