"Most common cause: Fuel filter pluged or loose fuel line causing air to draw into pump. Possibly crud in the fuel.

2nd most common: Contact Points set in the distributor is no adjusted correctly. Replace every 12 months/12,000 miles. Dunno how many hours that relates to in a stationary engine.

I changed the filter. As for the fuel line, I will have a look:)

I don't think the contect points can be adjusted. It's electric. I could totally be wrong because I don't really know what I'm doing!
