I found that using a chisel just ends up tearing the steel round the spots, and makes a right mess. Im trying to make a slittle mess as possible.

D, how did you get a drill into the tunnell to drill out the spots?
Getting in a wire brush, yep no worries, but ou cant get a drill in there. Did you use some fancy 90degree adaptor for your drill?
