if thats farenheit thats fine

that equals 90 degrees

sounds quite hot for a normal running temp, but if it doesnt get much higher thats fine, if it was going up to 95 degrees plus i would definitely be worried

sounds like you need to buy a cooler thermostat really though, then your motors normal temp will be a bit cooler, which allows for a bit of heat build up sitting and traffic lights and stuff
