I though with the amount of oil changes we go through with all our cars, yes as datsun peeps are hoarders of cars and more than one make I thought it would be good to have an up to date thread on oil and filter deals.

I personally like to use almost any 20/65 oil as they are all pretty good these days as most come from monopolised suppliers in slightly different grades but better grades than available 30-40 years ago.

Therefore this week

Gulf Western $10 - 4 litres @ Autobarn

Castrol GTX2 $15 - 5 litres @ Autobarn

Filters all cars and type kinds where $5 at Tuten autos on sydney road brunswick but just closed down :(
lucky I got quite a few of them

The A series unlike the K series doesnt need a flow back valve as far as
I know in the oiling desing (pls correct me if Im wrong)

Also would mind putting on an external oil filter relocator to use the
bigger and cheap ford or holden taxi filters.

Peeps are welcome to put the price of my other fave premium brands for
the good engines we also like to look after with the best stuff
eg Pennzoil or Mobil 1 synthetic oils
