Dimlight's solution (which will eventually be mine too) is to go to a race shop and buy a quick-release hub. Here in the US they around $25-50. The spline part welds onto your
1200 steering column, then the top half of the release bolts to any three bolt mount wheel. Also makes it alot easier to get in and out of a lowered Coupe when there's no wheel
in the way.

My experience with this is that the 1200 spline is different to all the other Datsun/Nissans of the age. Which makes getting a boss quite difficult.
