The one on the left is a 1200 alternator, same as later 510s. The later B10 are like it with the same 3-ear mounting, but as you say with different wiring from early 1000 and early 510s.

Early B10s have a different alternator and a different bracket per the catalog. Looking for a photo to confirm.
