Looking at running a CA18DET in a 1200 ute, power wise will be running fairly standard for awhile but I do have plans to get it above the 300hp mark eventually.

It will be mounted using a copy of the maddat fitting kit, my attraction to the r30 box is that I don't need to mod the tunnel and can then keep the std heater box.

The other engine setup I was thinking is a complete opposite to the ca, saw a 1200 fitted with a worked L20b stroked to a 2.4 with a Z crank, this thing was a animal and was fairly easy fit
