Hi guys -

On Saturday 14 July we lost our very close friend Ben in a shark attack - Western Australia.

Ben had been sporadically working on this bloody Datsun for years & it always seemed nothing got done.

Ben's parents want to get the car done restored but i fear that due to money restraints the car will reach a point where it can't be saved. They have said they are happy for us to get some quotes and explore restoring it further.

You're going to have to forgive me because I'm not sure what year it is etc. Hopefully you can get an idea from the picture below -

I'm really just looking for rough ideas what people think price wise having the whole body work restored and painted would cost - I know this is a hard question to answer without seeing how much rust is through the car but if we say its a worse case scenario and gauge ideas from that?

The car needs a new starter motor as well however otherwise its fine mechanically.
Does anyone have a rough price on this as well?

Hopefully I can get a rough idea on price just to see if it’s a viable option to get close friends to try bringing it back to life.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
