hi i was just thinking my A12 a the moment is fairly stock just with a weber 34/34 and extractors and it's max rpm is at 6200rpm.

the engine dosnt do much after 5000rpm but make noise so if you where to leave it as it is and just change the valve springs (double valve springs), will their be a power increase with the increase in RPM or will it still feel dead at 5000rpm and just rev with no power increase?

or is it that it makes no power above 5000rpm because of valve spring bounce?

Thanks!
