As for the sanding, welding and painting, it depends on which one of us you are asking. If you are asking me, I did the welding but had tensandtwenties do the sanding and painting. Obviously, reverse those if you are asking him. Sorry, I'm in a wise-ass mood this morning.
I'm not sure if the Chrysler corporation ever exported the Omni so I'd doubt that they will be familiar to anyone outside the states. It was a blatant ripoff (sorry if I offend any Chrysler fans or corporate lawyers) of the Volkswagen Rabbit. It did have the most awesome stock fenders I have ever seen though. The flares are huge. I don't remember what I paid for the fenders, not much at a junk yard. You might be able to find some of those Taiwanese knock offs of the Omni fender elsewhere in the world. I wouldn't get my hopes too high on that though since I had trouble finding them here. I guess I should get off my lazy butt and stock up on some junk yard fenders and sell them to you guys. George, you interested in making a buck or two?
