So this is odd, drove the car home today, hour and a half drive mostly freeway, and no smoke at all when stopped.
So I'm assuming that the reason it was smoking on friday was probably coz i'd been driving for 2 hours and the engine oil was getting pretty hot after that then sitting in traffic, so the oil was thinner than it normally would be and then started to leak past the oil seals

So I guess its still on its way out, but seems as I dont generally go on 2 hour drives in my car I may be able to just forget about it for a while
