It's more than an adrenalin injection. I couldn't believe the power mine had after installing it. As soon as it was running, I blasted up the road with only a dump pipe (was loud!) Was unreal. You get used to the power though. It does get boring, and you only crave more after a week or so.

1/4 Mile should be low 13s. On stock tires.
This is from a good condition stock CA18DET (Intercooled version). Mine did 15 flat, but the engine was all carbon'ed up.

As for the costs, it's hard to say. That could be a tight budget. Labour prices are going up everyday. You need to get a real quote from someone who does this conversion.
