To clarify if your talking A14T as in twin carb then the 75HP at the wheels won't exactly move your 2000lb car rapidly, we're talking 17 seconds. If you are talking A14 Turbo then that would go pretty decent, high 14 seconds. For drifting I'd expect you'll want 130HP at the wheels or more and that will be a pretty stoutly tuned A-series that likely won't be streetable.

As for road racing.................you can have a lot of fun for not a lot of bucks using the A-series UNLESS you plan on the car being a giant killer................you can get 150 RWHP with an A-series but it will be running 14-1 compression, 9000 RPM redline and really wild cams, it will need a close ratio 5 speed as the standard box drops will cuase it to go off the cam...............AND you'll be going through the motor for every 5-6 hours of run time.
