Hy Greg. That is what I have been told too,that 235-50-13 tires are no longer available for street use,they make 245-45-13,235-50-13 and others indiferent denominations (like hoosier racing tires uses,is like a metric terminology) ...but only for racing,not for street. I like the performance and looks of the 13's,I made 14 X 7 front and 14X8 rear wheels for my datsun,but the tires available in 14 are also bad,only 55 profile or 60,no 50 nor 45,so unless big wheel well work,with 14 or 15 inch wheels or bigger,you can only use skiny tires,the wheels would be a max of 7 inches if it works, it is not my look,I like fatter tires and wheels to hold the ground,I am not into the chromed shiny wheel,skinny and inneficient. Nobody can tell about tastes,it is a personal thing. But if you want to get rid of your 235's,let me know,I want them. Do not forget,please,I have been looking for them for a while. I hope some manufacturer builds them again.
