wow that's a lot of info, i have a bluebird series 3 H190 diff housing and centre, i thought it was 29 spline but perhaps you are correct that it is 30

Mine has been shortened and uses the bluebird disc over drum brakes

I can't see how the axle bearings (from the bluebird)would allow for sideways movement from what i have seen, as to me they appear a normal bearing which is pressed on to the axle. Though all this is standard bluebird equipment - so it must work?

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make but perhaps you know how i can solve the issue of my brakes hitting the chassis etc?

This diff is fitted to my road/weekender car, not the rally car
