Im just tossing up the pros and cons of the a14 and 15.
(keep in mind all of this is research pre build as i wont be building an engine for a matter of months could even be a year until funds are all there...)

Overall the aim is to have a nice streeter with the occasional hill climb/track day. It will be going into my 1200 ute.

Im considering whether to build a stroked a14 or a bored a15.
What cranks will fit the a14? I would assume the a15 crank will?
But then if you stroke the a14 with an a15 cam wont that be redundant as you spend lots of money stroking an a14 to essentially have an a15, or do i have my facts mixed up?

If i were to go an a15, i was thinking bored to 1600cc with wedge pistons, what pistons i use is funds permitting, but i hope to collect all the bits over time and build the motor slowly.
I have heard you can stroke an a15 but it seems to me that is a very pricey way to go, is it really worth it over a std bored a15?

The plan is to run twin 40dcoe's with elec dizzy, mild ported H89 head with double valve springs possibly larger valves permitting funds. and a wade 140 cam. (apparently its lumpy in a fairly stock engine however with twins it should be nice...)
Ill also use a lightened a12 flywheel.

As well as this being about some points id like to find some more information about, it would be good to just have some more overall info on moded a series engines, as well as peoples experiences with a motors.
