Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but im about to do this conversion tomorrow and got a few questions.
Remember to bridge out your auto inhibitor wires to get your starter/ignition system to work!
What wires are the inhibitor wires? Do you recall the colours? Also what wires is for the reverse lights? I can see the auto has a round 7 or 8 pin plug and the manual only has about 4 wires (going from memory as I havnt got them in front of me)
Has anyone got a wiring diagram or can anyone shed some light to what wires connect with each other?
second- From reading this thread Im thinking that the manual gearbox X-member wont bolt on to a auto car? as theres no bolt holes for a manual X-member? Is this correct?
Just want to get all the info before I do to swap. Im picking up a parts car tonight which has the manual box and a good strong engine so Im just swapping it all over into my shell (originally auto) I know I need the gearbox X-member and tail shaft just the wiring has me confused haha
Any help will be awesome! :)
