A real late reply i know, since last i put another 4 speed in as it was all i could find and barely afford at the time didnt even check the model it was a really rushed and slack buy on my behalf.

Unfamilia you have a point there i realize now the old box was very sloppy from the get go and smashing through gears definetly didnt help the situation! Its a stock A15 engine at the moment not sure what model the gearbox is i think its a 56 but i may be wrong.

Thanks for all the feed back i will definetly consider a 5 speed (and all the bits and pieces to go with) at some point as i intend to keep the 120y and do a full resto once i get back to work and settle in my own house.For the mean time im thinking about attaching a webber not to sure on the model but i have a mate that has a spare off some sort of 1.8L motor.

Also i have considered (down the track) fuel injecting the weber can anyone shed some light on this?
