Hey, I'm getting ready to put on a pair of Dellorto DHLA 40 mm carbs on my A-15 tomorrow and I got a quick (but important) question about the carbs. There are some really small tubes coming out of each barrel of each carburetor, 4 total right behind and to the side of the air/fuel mixture screws, they're slightly smaller than the vaccuum advance nozzle. Does anyone know what these are for and what they are supposed to be hooked up to????
I spent all day today getting it ready for the swap, special thanks to Dimlight up in Dallas/Ft Worth, I couldn't do it without a manifold, thanks! I had to make my own accelerator cable bracket (what else is new with these swaps?) and do a few tricks to make it all work, but it should go no problem. I just had this one last question as this is my first experience with these kinds of carbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!! Oh, and I'll be taking it to the 1/4 mile track on Saturday to see how much better these run than the SU's, I'll keep everyone posted!
