Bart the SR20 block was one of their first ones available from them

price has come down & still cheaper than custom cast honda blocks.
If I had a politicians corrupt salary I would ask for sep crankcase
and cylinder case for that price in case you spin the crank or a rod
out of bed at 10K rpm you can replace it cheaper than the whole block.
Also would need higher deck height as the reason the sr16ve makes so
much power is due to the longer rod stroke ratio whereas plenty put
the sr16ve on the sr20 bottom end but the forces on the sidewall at
8500-9000rpm has alot of friction that impedes on the hp.
Also the heads are designed for long rod stroke ratio if you look at
their ports they are quite small compared to stock sr20de.

A Locost builder could consider getting 1 for a Kawasaki Zx14 head using
a full counterweight forged or billet CA18de crank as the bore spacings
are almost spot on identical ca18de 90mm versus zx14 89.65mm then can
get 2000cc Zx14 with same rod stroke ratio as Zx14 1.844 using Dodge 2.3
H-beams ported heads, 87mm Muzzys Forged pistons, cams, valves, pulleys,
50mm TBIs would make over 320hp NA at 9000rpm reliably.
