The Busa ate a set of clutch plates every 6 passes including the trip to Calder (most of the damage) and barely made it home. It ran a small GT turbo which was off my cbr600 (201hp 9psi). ZX 12 however was not turbo but worked off its nut and a shot of NOS. Cause I weigh about 86kg and my girl weighed about 46kg , we worked out she had about 25-30hp advantage over me just there. She had an amazing reaction time of .003-.007 and I was 1. upto whatever. But I would have her from the start and upto the last 70m and then you'd hear that turbo on ya asss. I use to hit the NOS in 4th but made no difference all you'd hear was TURBO coming. I think she use to back off towards the end cause she felt sorry for me. I only beat her once out of about 100 runs due to her going sideways and missing a gear.. And I just just beat her. The other interesting fact was I ran a concoction of avgas- methyl benzene (toluene) 20% and nitro ethane 5%. Think the Tol was there cause the nitro wouldnt mix (immiscible) with the avgas and made it mix. Not really sure how it works but did get an extra 16HP just from the fuel !! If you were to ever put a bike engine in a Datto, I'd definitely go the Yamaha V-Max. Super tough motor with a super tough gearbox and so much grunt. Flat 10 's straight out of the create and so much bolt on stuff available.ZX12 would be 2nd choice, such a good motor with a constant mid to low 10's. Busa has #OOPS#t motor, never ending problems and same as Zx12 mid to low 10"s.
