early is 1970 build. 1971-1973 is changed for RHD worldwide but there is not much difference.

The mid-model ute engine harness has the coil position changed, and the dash harness is changed too, but still not a lot different. The bigger changes came in 1981.

For putting a newer A12 in and a 1978-up ute cluster, I would use the original sedan wiring harnesses.
