Autometer Speedo Probelms

Hi guys, got my new dash and all installed took for a drive and speedo needle is bouncing all over the place. Anyone have a sussestion for this? Alternator has been rebuilt so I doubt its that, possible a bad earth?

Any help appreciated cheers
