That won't work very well.

Maybe, just maybe, the plug will be loose enough to use that. But generally it needs 1/2 inch drive to get enough torque to remove. $10 will get a long breaker bat at Harbour Freight. A ratchet and a piece of pipe makes it even easier.

By the way, it is not unique to Datsuns. Just most people don't use a special tool.
