Yeah l've been trying to avoid getting adjustable top plates, for half decent ones you pay up around $400.

However l thought also that some hubs/disks were offset differently, and l guess it also depends on the stub angle in relation to the strut.

I've only got the drum struts to compare with the 1600, but they are offset differently. It appears that the 1600 struts require much more strut angle to achieve the same camber even using the same arms.

Think l might just make my own top plates, to give the camber l want, and save money.
