My sincerest apologies everyone! the wording on my title is wrong, totally wrong its supposed to be an "external oil pump from a Hybrid A/L series" that runs from a pulley feeding oil into the original front of the block where a protuding front mounted oil pump usually sits, its a similar situation as an L series oil pump position and inlet at the bottom right of the block.

Im thinking of feeding the oil from a reservoir with a couple of strainers at the top to allow any aerated foaming oil to clarify before its fed through the Z145B filter then into the oil inlet on the block.

The engine is a Honda B20 block chain driven that Im looking to convert to belt driven and fit the bike head as the Honda block is all alloy and will allow me to continue my bike engined headed car engine idea, albeit no longer Nissan but nonetheless a long term project for personal interest.

The head will need some careful quality porting by a specialist in the states who is willing to CNC the correct shape to flow and extra 600cc with wilder cams to suit. The head work is 1000-1500 usd involving him hand porting the first one in/ex then the cnc copying them then CNC the copied porting work onto the others. Cams will be custom billets quite reasonable albeit halve the material of normal modern car camshafts.

I have looked at all nissan engines and ran into a stumbling block with my original choice of cast iron block so searching for an alloy block with exact or close to exact bore spacing led me to the Honda B.

The biggest hurdle is this like many Honda engines they spin the opposite way, so oil pump must be external, water impeller reversed pattern used and to a lesser extent crank oil bearing feeders need to be modified for clockwise rotation.

Alot of stuffing around but like I said a long term project just for kicks.

Gearbox will be T5 mustang with adaptor plate usually made for escorts like in this beast

pls enjoy the clip
