yeah Allan, my real name is Harry. I don't circuit race in improved production, just single or multi car speed events in the improved production class - Sprints and Hillclimbs, the occassional autocross... that kind of thing.

To go circuit racing requires a higher lever licence ($$) and more safety equipment ($$$) such as an approved rollcage, external battery isolation switch, window net etc to get your car log booked. Plus you need better brakes to last 10 or 15 laps, and have to be willing to get a bit of panel damage every once in a while. I would love to have a go at it, but I am quite happy doing these events. It's great fun and you only need basic safety gear, so it is accessible and affordable to everyone. Have you ever though about getting involved?
