Lo folks, new to the site. I came in looking for answers to my dilemma and figured you folks would have the answers. i bought a 77 Datsun Pick up for my son and it needed a rebuild on the carb. He rebuilt it and while putting it back on over torqued and cracked the flange. I have tried to find a Hitachi at the local yards to no avail. Is there another unit I could use without spending $300 on another Hitachi> If so what do I need in the line of manifold mocifications? I would be grateful for any help as I basically don't know squat about cars. I guess it would help to mention that the person I bought it from had replaced the original engine with a 1200. Thanks
