save buying a new standard carb
why not put a DGV weber on with an adaptor? it wil return same fuel economy and breathe better throughout the rev range. and cost the same or less too!
if you do, remember to grind out the divider on the stock manifold and get a porting tool and match the bore on the manifold to that of the adaptor.. otherwise not much point doing it.
