Went to tighten the nut on my steering column this arvo and with barely any pressure I start seeing metal shavings coming out. Now my steering wheel is completely loose and the nut isn't tightening down.

Is this a nut thread or steering thread problem?

Need to move the car back into the garage but can't change directions
