I had the same trouble 1200rc when I first took my dash out. Bloody choke knob wouldnt come off, I got frustrated and *accidently* busted it off. I went without it because I couldnt get it to glue back on. Sometimes kept pliers in the car to assist. Oh, how disgusting this whole knob buisness could get, I will shut up now.
