After seeing the video I actually got under the car to see if anything was actually loose or tweaked. The rebound adjustable Konis are in the middle of thier adjustment; running near full causes the rear to jack down and makes it understeer on exit, running them too soft makes the car pogo up and down noticeably but not side to side. The left rear tire was actually losing pressure and I would have written this off to a cut tire but it behaved the same way at the next event. The track is a good bit wider than stock (3" inches or so) and the corner speed is much higher now. The couple of cars that I know running full slicks on leaf spring cars run a bar, I suspect The car may be generating just enough lateral force to get the whole process started. When I get the over to my buddies shop we will be inspecting everything (read he will inspect everything) before any mods are made.

As for your your first race, yeah you were rather polite and missed some marks but as a instructor and sometime coach I liked that you were willing to carry the brakes all the way into the apex and worked on hitting your marks, even when you clearly missed it looked like you knew you were off line.............you would be surprised by how many newbies have no idea they are way off line, watch all of the video I linked. I also wished my car had the oomph that yours appears to have.
