Definitely bore the block! early turbo spool more drive-ability
and nicer to the basic stock build than spikey torque.

If using low compression use trusty Suzuki Vitara stock pistons
which if you look up the honda forums theyre cheap cast items
that hold 25+psi 400+hp in 1.6 boosted D16 engines.

They are 75mm and no matter if multivalve or not they sit lower
in the block providing lower comp but also several designs of
different height and dishes to help with right comp aim.

If its an early block 75mm is very safe.

and almost indestructible for Honda idiot owners for ages
They are the YCP brand 75mm 75.5mm & 76mm for later rebuilds
& not Hastings rings but NPR or Honda 92-95 d16z6 rings
