and i forgot, most stock tubo setups have an internal wastegate which blows air somewhere (i cant remember) but back in the motor to vent the air, i cant believe you guys are against the BOV, they are technically a very good thing (you all know why but obviously dont understand the importance) as long as it doesnt have a huge trumpet hanging off it, you should use it.
As far as that load on the gearbox thing, ive never heard such bull-shiet, i mean really thats like saying "i dont want to put a sports air cleaner on cause it will increase my power and put more load on the drivetrain" ( well maybe not that drastic but..) i mean you probably rev the shiet out of the motor when driving hard and dont let the revs die between shifts so why start worrying about that, the turbo still has to wait for exhaust to build boost again and there is going to be most exhaust when the motor is under load (after clutch is engaged) its just the fans in the turbo will already be be spinning quickly from the last wind up rather than going slow from trying to turn in "thick" air, and therefore longer turbo life
but anyway if you think a bov is all wank, good luck to ya
