I like to ask them to show me the Ford 9" rear end in their Chevy, or have them point to the carburetor and distributor on their V8.
Now as to the original issue of the Monaro, or whatever it was, having an unfair advantage, if it met the "letter of the law" as it was at the time of the race, more power to them. It does seem, from reading earlier posts, that they were given some special leeway in the rules. If that is the case, then I'd have to agree that it isn't fair.
As for the "so and so was winning until he broke/crashed/whatever" argument, that's nice on paper to make one feel better, but it's the final result that will be remembered.
