Last Friday I went to one of our local club racers prep shop and got the alignment checked and the corner weights checked; note before the last vintage race I was way behind and knew the alignment was going to be off given all the new parts that went on the car. We also had so many other things to sort (engine miss & brakes) at the track that I just lived with it.

Castor was off 4.7 left and 6.5 right (now 4.7 both sides, still using std radius rods)
Camber 1.3 right 1.9 left and now 1.3 (I bias ply Hoosier TDs, Hoosier says no more than -1.5)
Toe out 3/16 or 4.5mm now 1/16 1.5mm toe in. This is a starting point and similar to the spec from the C-sedan manual.

The toe setting was kind of expected, the car took a set in an odd way indicative of going to far with toe out. Initial turn in was rapid but then once the weight transferred you could feel it just barely wanted to wash out the front until the rear rotation caught up with the front. I've got a test day lined up so I will be workin with that......I also won't be surprised if the toe setting ends up close to where it was......only the lap times will tell.

Weight with 2.5 gallons of fuel and 140lb driver is 1814lbs /825 Kilos. The left to right is 50/50 (892/922) but front to rear is 53/47 (966/845) the car was 55/45. At some point the motor and tranny are going to be moved back another 20mm (it's already 25mm back) and lowered 25mm.
The overall weight is a bit porky but I still have all steel panels on it.

So the never ending tuning continues as I'm determined to get in the top 3 overall (last event I was 5&6th) My buddy has also pledged more trackside support again so we should find the extra couple of seconds. I'm also going to get the car on a Dyno and see what the A15 is belting out. Anything over 100whp will be good but hoping its around the 110 range. Last visit to the Dyno found 5hp through minor jet changes.........really enjoying the car more than ever.
