Eh, When I have problems with my pc I normally run a System restore. when starting up the laptop/pc you can hold either F8 or F12 ( I can't remember) or search System Restore after pressing start button in the lower left corner of your screen if you own a windows pc. follow the prompts and select the relevant date (the closest to todays date) and confirm. All of your files should still be intact (some updates for various programs may need to be downloaded again) and it'll revert your pc to it's last stable state.
Hopefully this helps. Otherwise consider cleaning it out with moisture-less condensed air as dust and other stuff harms the performance. If not take it to a pc store and let them look at it if you don't want to risk damaging it yourself.
