Ah, I see you are right. Tom McKay said it had been lengthened. I will edit the article for that.

Their are several reasons why a short one will work correctly, for example if using an A14/A15 flywheel, or using an engine plate between engine and transmission.

Tell us what your combination is, so that we can learn more about it.
* Flywheel: Thin or thick?
* Using an engine plate or not?
* Transmission: 60 series
* Release Bearing Sleeve: Original or Short type?
