@dvr1000 the carbs as Dave mentioned they are bike carbs but the manifold was custom made for a Nissan A-Series. Before all of the SCCA sports racer competitors went to motorcycle engines they used 1300cc A-series motors. As it was an unrestricted class (other than displacement) they found the flat slides made more power. Also note they revved these motors to 10,0000 rpms so the higher flow over traditional DCOEs was a big plus.

D sequential box is a huge improvement over H pattern; that is the one thing I really miss from when I ran the bike engined sports racer. I used the clutch to roll out of the pits after that it was up and down the box no clutch left foot brake etc. Big advantage in balancing the car on corner entry.
