years ago over a decade to be exact read a jap article on the bonus of bike carbs over weber for high rpm and it was mainly they didnt impede any flow while webers needed to be the right size with no chokes to get the same results along with direct path without big variations on port separation so flow could be as direct as possible.

I played with many sizes for different A series and found the 34mm are plenty for the street but for racing what you have must be savory delight!
