NZ assembled datsuns only had the one square tag, held on by four screws. So it's pretty hard to tell when a car has been re-shelled. The coupes were assembled in Japan, and they all had a chassis number matching the one on the tag stamped into the body.
I cut up a 310 coupe once that had a number stamped into it too. But others did not?
