His setup should definitely cost more what with the turbo and all

For EFI alone use the Nissan computer and the Datsun EFI manifold, definitely doable for under $1000. I sold my last EFI manifold for around $450 and got all the other Nissan EFI parts, sensors, airflow meter, etc. for less than $100. The key to making it run correctly is to use a matching computer and airflow meter (both from the same car)
