Dave I use a Hoosier Street TD vintage racing tire; while it's labelled a 185/60-13 it's a bias ply tire so it is not as big a 185 radial. Hossier's site has full specs but most important is the tire is only 20.6 tall.

I went to this tire because I have the same exact problem you are having. After installing the H190 and even after flattening the inner fender lip it was still an issue so I went to the aforementioned Hoosiers. If you do use the you'll need to reset the camber to 1- 1 1/2 degrees do to the nature of how bias ply tires work.

The car will move around more than on radials; while I'm comfortable with the 4 wheel drift everywhere nature of bias ply tires I realize not everyone is.
