Thanks Tom,
The plot thickens- it appears after talking to Kumho here the 175x16x13's that I am using are a soft compound and the max recommended operating temp is 30 degrees - after that they start going off big time!
That may explain why the car hooks up and rockets off the line and is very strong for 3 -4 laps then starts to go off. In fact the 1st race of the day was an 8 lapper and the last 2 laps were interesting to say the least...
I really need to start doing this properly and start taking and writing down measurements to get some proper base line data!
