See if you can find some front brake lines from an Australian built 120Y, with PBR calipers. These are the longest lines I've found, but they no longer list them as available. If you can find an older brakes shop, they might still have a PBR book showing the length. Or you can use a piece of wire to mock up the hose, then measure the length of the wire & add some length for slack& wheel movement. As I said earlier, try an old shop with a good reputation , as I got some of these lines made up for about $40 each. There was a company selling brakes lines on EBay, even their longest line was shorter than the PBR line.
You could also swap the struts from left to right on the car, putting the caliper ahead of the strut. This is how I did the Girlock struts into my Sunny wagon, I can't seem to feel any difference in the brakes, & this is the way you need to fit bigger brakes to a 1200, as otherwise the caliper hits the steering arm.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
