Greg thanks; I would likely use the flat slide carbs I have on my A15. I'm likely to get some push back with fuel injection on the car. It also makes it easier for me to tune.

I also have to sheepishly admit that I don't know how the SR20 CAS works; I'm assuming the ECU takes care of the timing advance but again I don't know.

D I have looked at the OZDAT post on the KA head and there is machining that needs to be done. There is also a good bit of mixing and matching to be done. As I'm not likely to be tuning the motor very hard the KAL and SR motor would likely end up with the same power output.

As for Toyota engines I'm pretty sure that would be outside the rules; I don't know of any series that allows this. Most series I've looked up want the same brand of engine.

Starting with a 130-140hp engine and adding headers/extractors cleaning up the ports and up prated cam shafts would likely another 20hp without much trouble.
