The target market isn't daily drivers, it's modified classics. The japanese kyusha shakocho style guys like the small tyres. The japanese kyusha/kaido guys don't care about the harsh ride as most would be lucky to drive 1000kms per year. When we were deciding what size to make this was the consensus. My vote was for a 245/45r14. When I was testong the tyres on a few cars a realised the tyte height was suitable for 110/210/310's without too much speedo error. But not too many guys overseas run wider than 8jj on their cars. We do understand these are a very niche tyre.
